Welcome to the biography of the sovereign Duchess Gloriana the Twelfth of the independent Duchy of the Grand Fenwick.
Fenwick is a small Duchy in a remote part of Europe. Five miles wide by one mile long the duchy is a small country with a rich heritage of wine-making and love of nature. Suspended somewhere inbetween era's , the duchy has become a noted tourist destination since their rise to world power in 1999.
Gloriana is the Twelfth duchess of Fenwick in a long dynasty of rulers dating back to the fifthteenth century. Pretty and proper the Duchess does her best to rule the duchy wisely with the help of her advisers ; her cousin Count Mountjoy and David Benter , the popualarly elected advisor to the queen.
Duchess Gloriana's six year reign has been along a somewhat moderate-conservitive lines as the Duchess tries to embrace new ways of doing things while still harkening to Fenwick's heritage of chivarly and honor. With the help of her new Grand Constable Tully Bascomb , the Duchess has made a previously unseen impact on worldwide foriegn policy with the threat of a Q-bomb attack hanging around to back up the tiny duchy's policy.
Even with her unpresedented succsess her policy has been oppossed by the hard-lined and contrary Count Mountjoy , and by the liberal David Benter. However , as Fenwick grows in power and prestige the misgivings of the two royal advisors are being put to rest and new era of world peace is settling in.
